I keep seeing the music genres for international music and world music. What's the difference? Is there a difference?
international is where it is from
world is an umbrella term for a number of styles that orignated from "international" places
so you can have a world music band in america playing african high-life and an international band in africa that plays straight ahead rock and roll, so they very frequently overlap, but are not always the same.

i was wondering what's the difference between the two. i'm planning to buy taylor swift's cd and when i looked at the price, the msian edition is obviously cheaper and the international edition is twice the price of msian edition.
is there any difference between the two cd?? (even minor one??)
the malaysian edition is different in only one way. it has a 'rare' or 'unreleased' track on it. sometimes there will even be a tab in the insert with facts or lyrical translation. thank you.

When I was in Thailand, I was shocked to see how loyal locals are to the King.
