Weather Journal: Fall Returns as Region Recovers From Snow
01.11.11
The last snowflake fell nearly 48 hours ago, but the October Nor’easter is haunting Halloween for millions of residents still without power. And the unusual storm’s impact will last into November.
Skies will remain clear and mostly sunny this week as stable high pressure dominates Greater New York. All that snow shouldn’t have a problem melting relatively quickly, as the area reverts to seasonable temperatures in the 50s by the end of the week, if not sooner. One thing to look out for is a slight flooding risk on area streams and creeks as the meltwater makes its way downstream.
Can anybody tell me the bible scripture at the end of the movie "A Haunting in Connecticut"?

I can't find it anywhere and I was hoping somewhere on here knows it(:
What bible scripture? I can kind of remember it.
But that movie is amazing. I'd do Kyle Gallner any day.

The haunting in Connecticut?
May 18, 9163 by Kelsey O | Posted in Movies
I watched the movie last night and I was wondering why the cousin stayed with them? Cause I remember the mom from the movie saying is chaotic around the house and the cousin girl said it's better than my house.
That is never explained and is irrelevent to the story.

The riddle in Haunting In Connecticut?
Apr 07, 2009 by Rachel K | Posted in Movies
Why did Matt recite the riddle to his cousin? I didn't understand that, because he often recited it.
I know what the riddle is, I just want to know why he was reciting it?
The riddle:
One bright day in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back-to-back they faced each other,
Drew their swords, and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
Came and killed those two dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie is true,
Ask the blind man, because he saw it too.
The two dead boys are Matt and Jonah(or however you spell that kids name, he was the one that helped with seances), Back to back they faced each other was when they first met each other, when Matt started to see the vision of Jonah. Drew their swords, and shot each other means they has a conflict, Jonah "tried" to reason with Matt but Matt freaked out and "shoot" in other words ignored Jonah. A deaf policeman heard the noise was the reverend that came to help them. Came and killed the two dead boys means that he came got Jonah "remains" taking Jonah out the house (basically killing him; also since Jonah's remains staying at the house meant the evil spirits that possessed the house were "at bay" or "contained".) When the reverent took Jonahs "remains" out of the house the evil spirits were basically released from "containment" and started to come after the family, more specifically Matt (in other words, Jonahs remain taken out the house = killed, Matt in the house with evil spirits = killed; Jonah and Matt are the two dead boys, obviously Jonah is dead, and you hear Matt (when he pushes the two sisters and brother our the house) say "im already dead"(this is just a saying don't forget). If you don't believe this lie is true means if you don't believe all these things that are happening. Ask the blind man, because he saw it too means The reverent saw the dead boy, Jonah, in his car and basically saw Jonahs vision of what happened how the seance went wrong, the evil spirits tried to kill Jonah, and how Jonah was burned alive.
It refers to the Blind man/deaf policeman as the reverend because the reverent came into the house thinking he knew what he was doing but actually was doing more harm than good. Deaf because he thought he heard something (as the riddle says) and tried to do something about it. Blind because he didn't see what he got himself into.
I might be wrong since this is the real riddle/poem.
That's the one I grew up learning
But this seems to be the full version:
One fine day in the middle of the night
Two dead boys got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other
One was blind and the other couldn't see
So they chose a dummy for a referee
A blind man went to see fair play
A dumb man went to shout "hooray!"
A paralyzed donkey passing by
Kicked the blind man in the eye
Knocked him through a nine inch wall
Into a dry ditch and drowned them all
A deaf policeman heard the noise
And came to arrest the two dead boys
If you don't believe this story's true
Ask the blind man, he saw it, too!
