Plot Summary: Paul Blart is a mild-mannered, dutiful family man who works as a security guard in a New Jersey mall. For years, he has applied to become a cop, but he always fails the physical exam because he is overweight. One day, a gang of organized criminals put the mall under siege and take hostages. Blart becomes trapped inside, and because of his sense of duty, refuses to leave. He thus becomes the police department's eyes on the inside and attempts to stop the criminals on his own.
Blart (Kevin James) is a bumbling single dad with a precocious daughter (Raini Rodriguez) who is constantly urging him to get into internet dating and meet a woman. Instead, he takes his job as a security officer at the local mall much too seriously to have time for romance. His routine is interrupted when a well-organised robbery empties the mall and among those taken hostage in the bank is a girl he has a secret crush on (Jayma Mays). With the SWAT team unable to take action, Blart must use all his wiles to thwart the crooks, free the hostages and save the day.
In Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Paul stole a teenage girl's phone, then her boyfriend keeps calling it. Can someone please tell me who he is?

Should my friends and I go see The international or Paul Blart: Mall Cop?

My friends and I go see movies every weekend. We are deciding between The international with Clive Owen and Naomi Watts or Paul Blart: Mall Cop with Kevin James. I wanted to see the new Friday the 13th movie but my friends don't want to see that. We are unsure because International got excellent reviews from critics but poor reviews from users. Paul Blart got average reviews from critics but great reviews from users.
Paul Blart is over rated. It's 100% predictable and sadly boring. The International now is exciting and action packed.
