Storyline

Plot Summary: In a distant, but not so unrealistic future, where mankind has abandoned earth because it has become covered with trash from products sold by the powerful multi-national Buy N Large corporation, WALL-E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess. What do you guys think of the recent controversy about the portrayal of fat people in Pixar's Wall-E movie?

agree with carlen.

the point in the movie is - if the people have been in microgravity for so long, their bones wouldnt be used and would deteriorate. 700 years later, they evolved to be like that. look at the babies, they are all fat and floating in hover chairs.

couple it with the fact that from birth they do not move with anything but a hoverchair and are catered for with everything by robots - its no wonder they are fat.

there isnt a hidden motive in the movie here, but come on!

the ages of the captains as said on imdb is that they live to 140 years etc, so life expectancy rises possibly due to the advances in medical care (whatever they would be). so they not only have no reason to move, they have no reason to stay fit and healthy - everything is done for them.

far too much is made of this - and the green aspect being topical at this moment in time - but what is forgotten is that the movie went into production 3 years ago, so its not like they are trying to keep up with the times.

take it for what it is - a great animated movie about friendship and love.

I am trying to start on a new project for a home-made commercial and I need to know what is the name of the program or how can you make the robotic effect that voice over actors used in wall-e, end war, etc.
