I think there is about 10 minutes worth of film in Quantum of Solace in terms of developing James Bond's character and the rest of movie is nonsense. Now we have to wait 2 years for the next one! What a rip!
It didn't have an ultra sweet car in it sponsored by GM like Transformers 2.

Not every James Bond film is a winner. James Bond's character has been developed (either good or bad) since Dr. No in 1962. There will always be flaws in James Bond movies, since they can't always please a fan base that has been around for over 45+ years in some cases. You have to take the good with the bad.

I saw the new James Bond film yesterday! It was good but i really want to know why it was called "quantum of solace"??
Is there something that i missed??

Wilson decided on the film's title Quantum of Solace only "a few days" before its announcement on 24 January 2008.[20] It was the name of a short story in Ian Fleming's anthology For Your Eyes Only (1960), although the film is otherwise unrelated.[43] Daniel Craig admitted, "I was unsure at first. Bond is looking for his quantum of solace and that's what he wants, he wants his closure. Ian Fleming says that if you don't have a quantum of solace in your relationship then the relationship is over. It's that spark of niceness in a relationship that if you don't have you might as well give up."[8] He said that "Bond doesn't have that because his girlfriend [Vesper Lynd] has been killed",[43] and therefore, "[Bond is] looking for revenge [...] to make himself happy with the world again."[20] Afterwards, Quantum was made the name of the organisation introduced in Casino Royale.[44] Craig noted the letter Q itself looks rather odd.
