Two New Avengers Images Have Iron Man, Captain America And Thor In The City
11.01.12
We may have run out of new images from The Avengers . I'm not saying we've seen everything the huge superhero movie has to offer, or that we won't be seeing TV spots come March or April that highlight stuff we haven't even glimpsed yet-- namely,
what did u think of the iron man movie?
i liked it, but i it could be improved greatly by having more kick-a$$ scenes with iron man, like a much better final battle.
it was alright
it was kinda overrated in my opinion
everyone made a big deal out of it

Iron-Man..................?
May 17, 2007 by Dr.Cyclops | Posted in Comics & Animation
Who is looking fwd to the new Iron Man movie? Do you think it will be good or a steaming pile like so many non-Spiderman Marvel adaptions? Informed replies only, please.
It will be directed by John Favreau the actor from Swingers, he directed a sort of non-official sequel to Swingers called Made Men and I think he directed some Sopranos episodes.
I think he also has final credit for the script.
Tony Stark is played by a buffed-up Robert Downey.
"Steaming pile like so many non-Spiderman adaptions" are we talking about Fantastic 4?......Anyway the Iron Man movie looks promising, it has an incredible cast , ILM is taking care of the special effects, but I'm not too familiar w/ Jon Favreau, only that he was in Daredevil. If the script is tight, and if Fareau knows what he's doing and the studio execs. stay out of the way Iron Man should be a hit.

What is the plot connection between The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man?
Feb 07, 2009 by Terry the Klown | Posted in Movies
I noticed at the end of The Incredible Hulk, Tony Stark from Iron Man appeared in the movie, talking about 'forming a team'.
Then at the end of Iron Man, some guy talked to Tony about the "Avenger Project'.
Is this going to lead up to some big compilation of Marvel heroes in a movie?
The Avengers.

Iron Man 2 Wraps Production
According to Superherohype, after 71 days of principal photography, filming on Iron Man 2 has officially wrapped. Director Jon Favreau tweeted about the film’s last day on July 18, and and the wrap party that followed on Sunday. The sequel to the 2008 blockbuster is set for theatrical released next year on May 7. Returning to the franchise are Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Gwyneth Paltrow as his assistant Virginia “Pepper” Potts. New cast members include Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes, Mickey Rourke as the villain Whiplash, and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.
Check out an official statement from Marvel producer Kevin Feige after the jump.
“Shooting ‘Iron Man 2′ was a fantastic experience and we couldn’t be happier. Although there were many challenges in making this film, having Jon Favreau, Robert Downey, Gwyneth Paltrow and almost the entire crew from the first film back on board, allowed us to hit the ground running as everyone was instantly familiar with each other from day one,” Feige told Marvel.com. “This dynamic allowed us to get done what we needed on a day to day basis and was a big factor in why we finished slightly ahead of schedule.”
Good to hear! I will be the first to admit that early on all the casting shake ups that surrounded the film made me very nervous. I just wasn’t sure if the film would go off without a hitch. With the exception of Scarlett Johansson’s casting as Black Widow, I think everything else turned out picture perfect.
Do you think Iron Man 2 will be as good as the first film or even better?
